WHO Report: A Cautionary Tale or a Lesson Already Learned?

The International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC), a part of the World Health Organization, published a report yesterday saying that processed meat and red meat increase the risk of cancer.

Is this the final word on meat eating, declaring it’s harmful effects? Or do we need to put it into context and understand that there’s a lot more here than a simple one line conclusion.
