Optimal Health Program
What is the Optimal Health Program (OHP)?
Many people believe that health is the absence of disease. I believe that the absence of disease is just the beginning. We can build our health so we feel energized, vital, and balanced on a daily basis. This is what I call optimal health.
Every person is unique and thus requires a diet and lifestyle program tailored to their specific needs. The OHP is a personalized roadmap for reaching a level of optimal health.
What you will get out of the OHP
When I present someone with a program I ensure the client understands how they reached the level of health they are currently experiencing, and how they are going to get back to optimal health.
My focus in my practice is on education. If you can understand why you need to do something you are much more likely to do it, and the how takes care of itself.
I educate by using pictures, diagrams, clinical studies, and easy-to-understand language.
By the time we have completed the second session, you will have a clear understanding of your main concern and how you will reach your health goals.
How the OHP works
Step 1: Assessment
This service involves an extensive intake that takes about 2 hours. This constitutes a complete health history intake, family health history, extensive symptom analysis (going through and analyzing roughly 200 possible bodily symptoms), diet and lifestyle assessment, and an eating habit interview.
Step2: Program Development
Once I have this full history I can then put together a completely customized program that includes:
- Personalized information package on main concern
- Dietary recommendations
- Lifestyle recommendations
- Therapeutic supplementation
- Recipes
- Supportive handouts
Step 3: Program Implementation
We will then meet up again for about 2 hours where I will present this information to you.
Step 4: Follow-ups
Included in the program is 1 hour worth of follow-up time. This time allows us to monitor progress and make changes if needed. The time can be used whatever way we see fit.
It seems like there is a lot to do to get healthy. Do I have to follow the program 100% to see results?
Everyone makes changes at a different pace. I ensure that we work through the OHP at a pace that suits you.
